Recipe | Brown butter sage sauce with gnocchi

Serves 2

Ingredients

120g butter

20 fresh sage leaves

250g cooked gnocchi

Juice of ½ lemon

Grated Parmesan

Toasted pine nuts (optional)

Method

Melt the butter in a frypan until the sizzling settles.

Add the sage leaves and then the cooked gnocchi.

Cook, tossing occasionally, until the gnocchi is golden, the butter has turned brown and the sage leaves are crispy. Sprinkle over the lemon juice.

Serve with some freshly grated Parmesan and maybe some toasted pine nuts.
